![]() ![]() I don't mean this in a rude way but how do you know it isn't the same issue? I don't think anyone else here has said which WiFi chipset they're using, so someone might have the exact same setup as me. This happens straight after booting for the first time? I don't think I have the same chipset available to reproduce the problem, but I'll see if I can find something similar. It's not the same issue, only the same symptoms. Peakhour no interfaces found update#Through searching for help I can see that a lot of other people have had the same problem since Pixel was released at the end of September so it's disappointing that it hasn't been fixed by now as it seems unusual for an update to break such a basic feature. Today I did a fresh installation using NOOBS 2.3.0 (which is the first version I've tried with Pixel) on my Model B and when I go to the network icon in the top right to connect to a wireless network it just says there are no interfaces, even though it does list wlan0 under eth0. ![]() Peakhour no interfaces found driver#When I first got it, it needed a driver installing after a fresh installation of Raspbian, but at some point that became unnecessary (I guess the driver was added to Raspbian) but after that it has always worked fine. I have a Realtek RTL8188ETV USB WiFi adapter that I've been using mostly with my Raspberry Pi Model B (and sometimes with my RPi 2) for about 2 years now. Wpa-roam /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_nf # Previously I did not have this line To get WiFi working again I had to modify both files. To get it working again I had to change the way the RPi authenticate to the WiFi network.īefore I was using a file '/etc/network/interfaces' setup WiFi data only there (also user and password), leaving the file '/etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_nf' as default. I had some problem after Pixel update before update both WiFi and Ethernet (for a subnet) were perfectly working.Īfter the update the WiFi dongle was still recognized (ifconfig shows it) but no connection. ![]()
